Nachtmusik

Nachtmusik.
Distant rolling thunder lays the bass;
a prelude to the lightshow.
Overtones of pelting rain,
staccato on the window pane.
Symphony of nature
each stanza singing solace;
adagio
lulling me to slumber.

And so I go.

    I'm glad the rain makes you feel sleepy! It tends to make me feel anxious and nervous.. Lovely poem, though :)

    how beautiful lyn! the rain lulls me to sleep too now, but not when we were in a flood zone 2 blocks from the sea!

    Lori - I think being in a flood zone would be stressful. Rain would definitely not be a welcomed friend, that's for sure!
