We've been through it all together -

all we can offer is
a soft shoulder,
a caring heart
a listening ear.

Sometimes we have to be still in the silence
in the moment
in solidarity,
in friendship
in sisterhood.

Sometimes, it has to be enough
to know that we are not alone.
